Kontamo Ads API – Privacy Policy

Who we are

Kontamo Ads API ("the tool") is an internal tool of Kontamo OÜ (registry code 14241747, Kalda tee 6, Hüüru küla, 76911 Harjumaa, Estonia; e-mail info@kontamo.ee). The tool is used only by authorised Kontamo OÜ staff (owners and management) to manage Kontamo OÜ's own Google Ads accounts. It is not offered to the public or to other businesses. What data the tool accesses

Through the Google Ads API the tool reads and, where explicitly approved by Kontamo OÜ, updates data of Kontamo OÜ's own Google Ads accounts only: campaign settings and performance statistics (impressions, clicks, costs, conversions) and keyword research data (Keyword Planner). When a staff member authorises the tool, Google provides an OAuth access token and may provide the email address of that Google account; these are used only to connect to Kontamo OÜ's own accounts. The tool does not access Gmail, contacts, Google Drive files or any personal data of Google users who are not Kontamo OÜ staff. The tool currently does not upload or process our online store customers' personal data.

Why we use it

Only to plan, run, measure and improve Kontamo OÜ's own advertising.

Where data is stored

Data is stored on Kontamo OÜ's company computers, in Kontamo OÜ's own Google accounts and with service providers that act on our behalf (cloud storage and AI assistant tools used to analyse advertising performance). Access is limited to authorised Kontamo OÜ staff. API credentials are kept in access-restricted locations and are never published.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent data obtained through Google APIs. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf to provide the tool's functionality, or where required by law. Data obtained through Google APIs is not used to develop, improve or train generalised AI/ML models. Kontamo Ads API's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above and for Kontamo OÜ's legal record-keeping obligations, and is then deleted. You can request deletion by e-mail to info@kontamo.ee.

Revoking access

Access granted to the tool can be revoked at any time in the Google Account settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions) or in Google Cloud Console by the account owner.

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
